🌿✨ Teaching Lignin through Science, Creativity, and Communication ✨🌿

I recently completed my lecture in BCT 633 Bioactive Compounds and Nutraceuticals on the topic “Lignin and Biological Activity.”

Based on students’ feedback, the session helped them better understand the biological and biotechnological importance of lignin, although the topic can be complex and challenging. The infographic/poster activity also encouraged students to transform scientific knowledge into visual communication, supporting creativity, active learning, and long-term content recall.

My teaching strategy focused on:

This activity showed that complex scientific concepts can become more accessible when students are encouraged to learn, design, reflect, and communicate.
