Our CE and Innovation for Oral Health & Healthy Longevity proudly announces that our postdoc Pearrii Kanyaluck and co-investigator Pirawish Limlawan have published a very informative review on lichen planus in vitro cell-based and animal models and humanized NAMs preclinical models. Soon we will launch the humanized NAMS lichen planus model! Stay tuned! Many congrats to Pearrii Kanyaluck Pirawish Limlawan for this insightful narrative review paper with very colorful infographics!
Current In Vitro Models of Oral Lichen Planus for Investigating Pathogenesis and Facilitating Drug Discovery: A Narrative Review Background Oral lichen planus (OLP) is highlighted as a chronic inflammatory disease of the oral cavity with an unclear etiopathogenesis. It is also categorized as an oral potentially malignant diso...

Here it is another relevant work from our Center of Excellence & Innovation for Oral Health & Healthy Longevity where our postdoc Dr. Pritsana Sawutdeechaikul (Koy) asked the question: can we efficiently create cholinergic neurons from human dental pulp stem cells at high purity rate >90%? These neurons can ultimately have several tissue engineering applications: muscle tissue, exocrine glands, and much more. Many congrats to Dr. Pritsana and the team for this achievement! Here is the paper which is shared as open access:

Our PhD candidate Toan Van Phan whispered, "No need for Matrigel and BME" and he made it happen! Many thanks to our fantastic team: Supansa Yodmuang Padet Tummaruk Sawang Kesdangsakonwut Risa Chaisuparat Waranyoo Pang Phoolcharoen Pipob Suwanchaikasem and many others! Do not miss our new in-house organ-on-chip fit-for-purpose microfluidic device for testing cytotoxicity in the oral mucosa: our tissue-specific dECM hybrid hydrogel creates a vascularized full-thickness oral mucosa in less than 2 weeks with ret pegs/ridges! CRO services for this model are now available! Take a peek at our innovations in NAMs (biomaterials and MPS) in this new publication at Journal of Dentisry for free (open access for 50 days only!) https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1lrDO14Lun69ul

Dear Salivary Gland Research Colleagues: We would like to invite you all to attend the Asian Salivary Gland Research Society (ASGRS) Pre-Summit Symposium 2025, together with the meeting Co-Chair, Prof. Jae-Yol Lim from Yonsei University, a key leader in the field. This Symposium will be to prepare for the launch of the ASGRS and will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Avison Biomedical Research Center in Seoul, South Korea. A welcoming dinner is set for 18.30 on Friday, June 20. This Pre-Summit Symposium represents the 1st significant milestone in our collective pursuit of excellence in salivary gland research across the Asian continent and beyond. Hence, we would like you to join us and build together the future foundations of this new society, the ASGRS. The program follows in the pamphlet below and features the most recent salivary research from Korea, Japan and Thailand with special focus on 4 different themes: (1) Molecular signatures and microenvironment in SG; (2) Innovations in SG research from biomarkers to precision medicine; (3) Organoid platforms for SG biology and translational applications; and (4) Emerging therapeutics: exosomes, biomaterials and organ-on-a-chip. Registration is FREE but must be done via this online pre-registration link by Sunday, June 15, 2025: https://lnkd.in/gn8S3zc3
