โดยทุนการศึกษาดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาระหว่างสถาบันอุดมศึกษาสวีเดนและสถาบันอุดมศึกษาสมาชิก ASEM ในภูมิภาคเอเซีย
