🌹 Honouring the Divine Feminine 🌹

The Sanskrit word for 'goddess' is Devi, and her greatest strength lies in her embodiment of all aspects of womanhood. Devi is the mother goddess of India, revered and honored as the local protector of countless villages. She is quiet and nurturing, offering solace and comfort to those in need. Yet, Devi is also a cosmic force, wielding the power to create and destroy worlds.

As a man, I find profound inspiration in Devi’s example. Her presence teaches us that true power is a blend of tenderness and strength, compassion and ferocity. In our lives, we often see women balancing many roles: caregivers, professionals, partners, and friends. From Devi, we learn that the ability to nurture does not diminish strength; it enhances it.

Devi's presence reminds us to honor the divine feminine within our world. She calls on us to support and uplift the women around us, recognising their immense power and potential. She encourages us to embrace the full spectrum of human experience, understanding that within the feminine lies the power to shape our destinies.

As I celebrate Devi in all her forms and honor the women who embody her spirit. Acknowledging her quiet strength that sustains us all and the fierce determination that drives progress.

All women are goddesses in their own right, capable of incredible transformation and endless creation.
