Following this philosophy, we recently delivered 8 HSRG modules and spare parts from Shanghai, China, to Singapore - by connecting the shipper, receiver and supplier to meet a critical timeline despite harsh covid restrictions and heavy congestion in China.

FLS booked the vessel MV FU QIANG and arranged floating cranes at origin and destination to lift the cargo from the pier into the hold and on deck. While our engineers calculated the precise requirements of the crane capacity, we had to be flexible with the crane supplier because of the unknown vessel berth timing. We also communicated closely with the shipper and receiver to make sure the cargo was available on-the-spot and limit the stand-by time of SPMT equipment. China’s covid restrictions did not allow our representative on board, as is our standard, however, we still arranged for our staff to supervise from the pier.
