Join Us as Full Stack Developer: Remote Work (Equal Health)

We are looking for a mobile and web-based developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality mobile applications and web systems. The ideal candidate will work across the full development lifecycle, creating responsive, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that meet the project and technical requirements.

Primary Responsibilities

Application Development
• Develop and maintain mobile applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React Native, Nodejs with JavaScript support.
• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Android mobile applications and web-based systems.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store, including release management and version updates.

Integration & Architecture
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful backend APIs, relational databases, and third-party
services.
• Work with MySQL, Postgresql, Firebase, SQLite, Oracle database, and other mobile-appropriate databases for local and cloud data management.
• Contribute to system design discussions and maintain up-to-date technical documentation.

Quality & Security
• Conduct application testing, debugging, and performance optimization across target devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and application bugs in a timely manner.
• Ensure application security, data protection, and compliance with mobile development best practices.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to implement accessible, user-friendly interfaces.
• Support development of dashboards and data visualizations to improve data utilization for program staff.
• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
• Undertake any other tasks reasonably assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Skills

Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining mobile and/or web applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop both front-end and back-end components within project deadlines.

Technical Skills
• Proficiency in one or more front-end and server-side languages and frameworks (e.g. Kotlin, Dart, JavaScript, Next.js, React….).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data integration.
• Knowledge of MySQL, Oracle Database, Postgresql, SQLite, or other mobile database solutions.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with scripting/authoring languages, management tools, and content creation toolchains.
• Familiarity with Oracle Database is an asset.

Experience in Healthcare
• Experience with healthcare technology, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), or mobile applications is a strong advantage.
