Designing structures on water is far more complex than on land due to the intense interaction between water and structures — water being 800 times denser than air. This talk explores how hydrodynamic modeling helps engineers design safer, more resilient infrastructure such as:

Flood embankments and dam-break assessments

Harbor development planning

Floating solar panel installations in reservoirs
