🌱 Hey friends! 🌿 Today, let's dive into the world of materials and explore the differences between Pine Resin and Polyurethane.

🌲🌿 Pine Resin: Pine resin is a sticky, viscous natural substance ,known for its versatility and durability, this natural resin is a fantastic choice for our eco-friendly ♻️ startup.

It's a type of material that can be derived from plant-based sources, making it more sustainable and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
It's also resistant to water, chemicals, and UV radiation, ensuring long-lasting results 😍.

Polyurethane or PU : It is a petroleum-based plastics toxic material ⚠️, that is made from fossil fuels πŸ›’

It is neither biodegradable nor recyclable πŸš«β™»οΈ, it is among the biggest culprit behind our growing problem of microplastic pollution.

In fact, Polyurethane leather will take upwards of 500 years to degrade !

Moreover, the manufacturing of Polyurethane is associated with high energy consumption β†—οΈβš‘ up to hundreds of KWh /ton compared to the low energy consumption in the pine resin extraction or production.

At GLBA, we're committed to finding innovative and eco-friendly 🌱 solutions every step of the way. By exploring alternatives like plant-based resins, we're striving to minimize our environmental footprint while creating beautiful, sustainable products.

Together, let's embrace these materials and make a positive impact on our planet! πŸŒπŸ’š
