Outstanding achievement, commitment and excellence were recognised during the Losaline Loukinikini Salakielu 'Ahio Recruit 54 Graduation Parade, where several recruits were honoured for their exceptional performance throughout the training programme.
The awards recognised recruits who consistently demonstrated excellence in academic studies, physical training and overall performance, reflecting the discipline, determination and professionalism expected of future members of Tonga Police.

The Baton of Honour, awarded to the recruit who achieved the highest overall standard in both academic and physical training, was presented to Andrew Havili MISI. The First Runner-Up Award was presented to Sione Fatai LUPĒ'UVEA, while Sofilisi Tonga received the Second Runner-Up Award.

In his address, Lord Fakafanua reminded the graduates that excellence is measured not only by performance during training, but also by the character they demonstrate throughout their policing careers. "Trust is earned through respect and fairness and is easily lost."

He encouraged the graduates to uphold the values of integrity, professionalism and accountability as they begin serving communities across the Kingdom.

The awards presented during the ceremony reflect the commitment, resilience and determination demonstrated by Recruit 54 throughout months of intensive training. While individual excellence was recognised, every graduate successfully met the demanding standards required to earn the privilege of wearing the Tonga Police uniform.
