DECOL

The exhibition “80 Yıldır Yarınlardayız” which explores Garanti BBVA’s history alongside Turkey’s economic, social, and technological transformation, has opened its doors at the Mastercard Exhibition Space. Shaped by Salt’s comprehensive archival work, this institutional memory has been reinterpreted through interaction experience design and creative coding processes carried out by DECOL.

Through data visualization and algorithmic systems, the project transforms thousands of archival documents, videos, and objects into an interactive data flow. Shifting the visitor from a mere spectator into an active participant, this dynamic structure allows participants to explore the past across a multi-layered, sensory environment along self-determined paths.

LUMIN
Interactive Installation, 2.5 m x 2.5 m, Projection, Depth Sensor, Custom Software

Lumin is a living installation inspired by nature and shaped by audience interaction. It presents a real-time simulation of bioluminescent worms inhabiting dark cave environments. The installation tracks the hand movements of visitors and transforms them into light and force fields within a virtual space. Through this interaction, an invisible connection is established between the audience and the artwork, allowing visitors to become an active part of the system. As interaction unfolds, life-like physical behaviors characteristic of bioluminescent organisms can be observed.
