🌸 Highlights from Our Slovenian FLOWER Seminar!

As part of the Erasmus+ FLOWER project, we hosted our final local event in Slovenia. It was a meaningful day dedicated to empowering rural women through financial literacy, digital confidence, and effective communication.

The event featured practical tips and personal inspiration, including insights from a sustainable detergent startup (BAZAlab) and a session on fearless public speaking. Once again, we demonstrated that knowledge is power and that women are unstoppable. 💪

We’ve officially kicked off the multiplier events, starting in Turkey 🇹🇷, where we shared the outcomes of the FLOWER project with local communities and key stakeholders. From practical tools to empowering knowledge, we’re making sure the benefits of our Erasmus+ journey reach the heart of rural resilience and entrepreneurship.

This is just the beginning — more events are coming soon across Europe.Together, we’re planting seeds for a stronger, more inclusive future.

🌸 FLOWER: Financial Literacy for Women in Rural Areas 🌸

We are proud to share the article published by Gazeta de Espania highlighting the recent Train-the-Trainers course held in Zaragoza as part of the FLOWER Erasmus+ project!

Organised by INNETICA at ESIC Business & Marketing School, the course brought together 16 adult educators from Slovenia, Spain, France and Turkey to explore inclusive financial education strategies tailored to rural women.

💡 Topics included:
✅ Responsible saving and budgeting
✅ Digital tools for financial planning
✅ Fraud prevention
✅ Andragogical methods and storytelling

One highlight was the visit to EntreMujeres, a center empowering women through fair trade and community action. 🌍✨

The FLOWER project, coordinated by Razvojna agencija Sotla and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme, aims to foster financial independence and inclusion for rural women at risk of social and economic exclusion.

We started our Friday with a meeting of the FLOWER project partners, coordinated by Razvojna agencija Sotla. We reviewed the Train-the-Trainer course, evaluated its impact, and exchanged valuable feedback.

The core focus of the meeting was planning the final phase of the project—the organisation of local events where participants will transfer their knowledge to rural women in their communities. These events will take place by mid-June, with a clear goal of strengthening financial literacy, confidence, and opportunities for women where they’re needed most.

Together, we’re wrapping up a project whose impact will extend well beyond its official end.

Wednesday at the FLOWER Training in Zaragoza: Stories, Numbers & Inspiration

We kicked off the day diving into income, budgeting, and banking basics with CASA MARE. The session was packed with practical tools and discussions on how to make financial topics accessible and relevant for rural women across different cultures.

Later, KEPDER led an interactive workshop on financial protection and planning for the future. We explored how to recognize scams and financial fraud—an essential skill in today’s digital world.

But the real highlight of the day? Storytelling! With RA Sotla and , we explored how personal stories can transform financial education into something truly engaging and memorable. Participants got creative, developing and presenting their own mini workshops using storytelling techniques—complete with group feedback and lots of laughter.

The FLOWER project isn’t just training—it’s a journey of empowerment, connection, and sharing knowledge that matters.

The FLOWER Train-the-Trainer course is taking place in Zaragoza, Spain, from March 31 to April 4, 2025, bringing together adult educators from Slovenia, Spain, France, and Turkey. The main goal of the training is to equip educators with the knowledge, tools, and methods needed to deliver practical financial literacy workshops for rural women at risk of exclusion. Through interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and peer learning, the training supports the broader mission of the FLOWER project: to empower women with financial skills, promote inclusion, and strengthen local communities.

🌸 And we’re off! First day of the Flower Erasmus+ Train-the-Trainer course in beautiful Zaragoza, and already so much inspiration in the air.

This afternoon we officially kicked things off with a warm welcome from our hosts Innetica and project coordinator Razvojna agencija Sotla. It was great to finally put faces to names and feel the energy of this international group—from Slovenia, Spain, France (Casa Mare) and Turkey (Kepder Kültür Eğitim ve Proje Derneği)—all here with a shared goal: to strengthen financial literacy among rural women.

We got a closer look at the FLOWER Handbook and Curriculum, which we’ll be working with throughout the week. It’s clear this isn’t just about theory—it’s about real, practical tools we can take home and use to make a difference.

Lots of good questions, some laughs, and a helpful overview of what’s ahead.

We wrapped up with a cozy welcome dinner—tapas, wine, and lovely conversations that already feel like new friendships forming.

🌸 Empowering Educators to Empower Women – FLOWER Train-the-Trainer Course in Zaragoza

We are excited to share that our team will participate in the upcoming Train-the-Trainer course as part of the FLOWER project [Erasmus+ 210 ADU, CMEPIUS Erasmus+ Slovenia], which will take place from March 31 to April 4, 2025, in Zaragoza, Spain.

This international training will unite 16 adult educators from Slovenia, Spain, France, and Turkey with one shared mission: to enhance financial literacy among rural women at risk of exclusion.

Hosted by the INNETICA European network and coordinated by our Development agency Sotla, the course is designed to equip educators with practical tools, innovative methods, and pedagogical strategies for delivering impactful financial education. From saving and borrowing to digital banking and storytelling techniques, the sessions are tailored to create meaningful and lasting change in local communities.

We are proud to contribute to this initiative, which promotes financial independence, inclusion, and empowerment for women where they are needed most.

Flower Erasmus+ / 🔎 Employment Opportunities Fair and Education Festival in Celje – A Gateway to New Career Paths

Yesterday, Celje hosted an employment fair that brought together job seekers and employers from various industries. At the event, the Razvojna agencija Sotla presented the Flower project, highlighting its activities, opportunities, and key initiatives. The fair provided a valuable platform for networking, job openings, and expert career advice, offering attendees insights into new career paths and professional development opportunities.

🌸 Today, in the FLOWER project coordinated by Razvojna agencija Sotla, we held an online meeting and have officially entered the second half of the project's implementation.

📚 Our handbook is nearly complete, and we have gathered best practices from four countries. The training program for our train-the-trainer activities is also taking shape. We are in excellent condition and ready for the next steps.
