Wrongly convicted for 23 years, Adnan Syed has finally been released from prison.
Adnan is a Muslim-American man who was just a teen when he was arrested by the police. He has served 23 years in prison for the murder of his high school classmate Hae Min Lee.
Adnan's case is one of the most popular, saddening, and impactful cases in American legal history! He was only 17 years old and maintained his innocence throughout his sentence.
His story is indeed a tale of patience, strength and faith.
