Residential apartments are the best-selling during the first third of this year.

In the classification of real estate sales during the first four months of this year in Turkey according to the types of properties sold, apartments ranked first among the types of properties sold during the first four months of this year, with 442 thousand and 357 apartments sold, representing 44% of the total sales.

Real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey increased during the month of March

The real estate sector in Turkey recorded an increase of 20.6 percent during the month of March, compared to the same period last year.

According to the Turkish Statistics Authority, real estate sales to foreigners increased by 31 percent, during last March, compared to the same month in 2021.

The total real estate sales, during last March, amounted to 134,170 housing units, while housing sales to foreigners amounted to 5,567 housing units during the same period.

Istanbul topped the list of Turkish states selling real estate, with 23,974 properties, or 17.9 percent, followed by the capital, Ankara, with 12,609, and Izmir with 8,51 properties.

At the level of foreigners who bought the most real estate in Turkey last March, the Iranians topped the list with 784 properties, followed by the Iraqis with 741, then the Russians with 547 properties.

Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu'na göre, yabancılara yapılan gayrimenkul satışları geçen Mart ayında 2021 yılının aynı ayına göre yüzde 31 arttı.

Geçen Mart ayında toplam gayrimenkul satışı 134.170, yabancılara ise aynı dönemde 5.567 konut satışı gerçekleşti.
Türkiye'de gayrimenkul satan devletler listesinin başında 23 bin 974 konut ya da yüzde 17,9 ile İstanbul yer alırken, onu 12 bin 609 konut satışı ile başkent Ankara ve 8,51 konut satışı ile İzmir izledi.

Geçen Mart ayında Türkiye'de en çok gayrimenkul alan yabancılar sıralamasında ilk sırayı 784 konutla İranlılar alırken, onu 741 konutla Iraklılar, ardından 547 konutla Ruslar izledi.
