Although living away from their respective homelands, they strive to fulfill their essence and passion for life through the music they make and share, be it as a form of resistance or as a tool to explore the world and manifest and share their incredible talent.

فيلم تقاسيم، يروي قصة بهاء الجمعة ويزن إبراهيم، فنانان يدمجان عوالم مختلفة من خلال الموسيقى بينما يحتضنان ويستكشفان حقائق مختلفة - بين لبنان وإسبانيا وفلسطين ومرتفعات الجولان.

29 Nisan saat 13.00'de İstanbul Fransız Kültür Enstitüsü'nde Al Compás - تقاسيم film gösterimine sizleri davet etmekten büyük mutluluk duyuyoruz.

Film, ve , ve Tepeleri arasında geçen farklı gerçekleri kucaklayıp keşfederken, aynı zamanda müzik yoluyla farklı dünyaları birleştiren iki sanatçının ( & ) portresini çiziyor.

Anavatanlarından uzakta yaşamalarına rağmen yaptıkları müzikle özlerini ve yaşama tutkularını paylaşan bu sanatçılar hem direniyor hem de dünyayı keşfederken yeteneklerini filmde aracılığıyla bizlere ulaştırıyorlar.

Gösterim, 'in bir parçası olarak düzenlenmektedir.

Join us for a panel discussion This Thursday 13/04/2023 about reframing the narrative about migration, hosted by Migration Jam as part of the Migration Summit!
Our speakers, Dr.Gulay Ugur Goksel and Dr.Kenan Cayir, will discuss the importance of challenging negative stereotypes and biases, centering the voices and experiences of migrants, and building bridges of understanding and empathy between migrants and the communities they settle in. The discussion will be kindly moderated by Yesim Hanci-Kaya. This panel discussion is just one of many sessions happening throughout the entire month of April as part of the Migration Summit. On December 17th we are happy to invite you to our last event for this year, hosting the first screening/premier of Al compás movie at 2 pm in SAHA Studio! The screening is organized in collaboration with the Silent University and Migration Jam.

Al compás, a portrait of Bahaa Al Jomaa and Yazan Ibrahim, two Arab artists who, through music, merge different worlds while embracing and exploring different realities - between Lebanon and Spain, Palestine and the Golan Heights.

Although living away from their respective homelands, they strive to fulfill their essence and passion for life through the music they make and share, be it as a form of resistance or as a tool to explore the world and manifest and share their incredible talent. Quoting Yazan, “These stories seem to be similar because most of these people have made the same physical journey. But the essence of each is very different. What is their real story? Beyond what they had to go through to get to where they are now.”

The movie screening will be followed by a Q&A session on zoom after!

فيلم تقاسيم، يروي قصة بهاء الجمعة ويزن إبراهيم، فنانان عربيان يدمجان عوالم مختلفة من خلال الموسيقى بينما يحتضنان ويستكشفان حقائق مختلفة - بين لبنان وإسبانيا وفلسطين ومرتفعات الجولان.

17. İstanbul Bienali katılımcılarından Silent University, Migration Jam işbirliğiyle, sizleri 17 Aralık Cumartesi günü SAHA Studio’da, saat 14.00’te izleyicilerle Türkiye’de ilk kez buluşacak olan “Al Compás” filminin gösterimine davet ediyor.

“Al compás, Lübnan ve İspanya, Filistin ve Golan Tepeleri arasındaki farklı gerçeklikleri kucaklayıp keşfederken müzik aracılığıyla farklı dünyaları birleştiren iki Arap sanatçı Bahaa Al Jomaa ve Yazan Ibrahim'in portresini çiziyor.

Kendi topraklarından uzakta yaşıyor olsalar da, ister bir direniş biçimi ister dünyayı keşfetmek ve inanılmaz yeteneklerini ortaya koymak ve paylaşmak için bir araç olsun, yaptıkları ve paylaştıkları müzik aracılığıyla özlerini ve yaşam tutkularını gerçekleştirmeye çalışıyorlar.“
