En / Central University Library in Podgorica

The university campus is shaped around an east–west oriented central landscape axis, a spatial framework that will be further reinforced by future planning decisions. Positioned along the north–south axis, the library building establishes a spatial spine that enhances continuity across the campus, ensuring strong integration with both the landscape axis and the surrounding urban fabric. In this context, the library functions as a welcoming and defining component that influences the formation of the campus’s spatial and social character.

This approach aims to ensure the library’s cohesive integration into the campus, provide an inviting entrance, and organize the ground-floor functions to support the campus’s social spaces, thereby contributing both spatially and socially to campus life.

Tr / Podgorica Merkez Üniversite Kütüphanesi

Üniversite kampüsü, doğu-batı yönünde uzanan merkezi peyzaj aksı etrafında şekillenmekte olup, bu yönelim gelecekteki plan kararlarıyla güçlendirilecektir. Kuzey-güney aksında konumlanan kütüphane, kampüsün mekânsal sürekliliğini destekleyen bir omurga oluşturarak hem peyzaj aksı hem de çevresel kentsel doku ile bütünleşme sağlamaktadır. Bu çerçevede kütüphane, mekânsal ve sosyal açıdan kampüsün karakterinin oluşumunda karşılayıcı ve tanımlayıcı bir unsur işlevi üstlenmektedir.

Bu yaklaşım, kütüphanenin kampüsle bütünleşmesini, davetkâr bir giriş oluşturmasını ve zemin kat kullanımının sosyal işlevleri destekleyecek biçimde düzenlenmesini amaçlayarak kampüs yaşamına mekânsal ve sosyal katkı sunmaktadır.
