Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group

Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group (Turkish: Wikimedia Topluluğu Türk Dilleri Kullanıcı Grubu) – is a Wikimedia User Group created by active members of Wikimedia contributors who contribute and develop Wikimedia projects in Turkic languages. It aims to promote and participate in the projects offered by the Wikimedia Foundation and to organize the Turkic community. One of its core missions is to aid and encourage people to collect, develop and disseminate knowledge and other educational, cultural and historic content in the public domain or other licenses that allows everyone to freely use the knowledge, and to distribute and modify said content for free. Also, our main goal is to develop Wikimedia projects in Turkic languages, as well as to help and encourage Turkic-speaking users and communities.

The decision to create a Turkic Languages User Group was made by users of Wikimedia projects speaking Turkic languages at a meeting in Wikimania 2019 in Stockholm. The main goal of this user group is by creating a common platform for Wikimedia users to develop Wikimedia projects in Turkic languages.

Vikimedi Topluluğu Türk Dilleri Kullanıcı Grubu – Türk dillerinde Wikimedia projelerine katkıda bulunan ve geliştiren aktif Wikimedia katılımcıları tarafından oluşturulan bir Wikimedia Kullanıcı Grubu. Wikimedia Vakfı tarafından sunulan projeleri tanıtmayı ve bunlara katılmayı ve Türk topluluğunu örgütlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Temel amaçlardan biri, kamuya açık veya herkesin bilgiyi özgürce kullanmasına olanak tanıyan diğer lisansları, bilgiyi ve diğer eğitimsel, kültürel ve tarihi içerikleri toplamaları, geliştirmeleri, yaymaları ve söz konusu içeriği dağıtmaları ve değiştirmeleri için ücretsiz yardım ve teşvik etmektir. Ayrıca asıl amacımız, Türk dillerinde konuşan Türk topluluklarına yardımcı olmak, teşvik etmek ve Türk dillerinde Wikimedia projeleri geliştirmek.
