Today 18 March marks the anniversary of Çanakkale Victory. We commemorate the Ottoman soldiers who have lost their lives at Gallipoli! They came from every place in the Empire ( Turks, Arab, Kurdish...) to repel an attempt by the British, French and Australians to invade Istanbul via the Canakkale straits.
