ECOMONDO 2026’da tekstile ayrılan alan genişliyor

Italian Exhibition Group Spa tarafından düzenlenen ve ekolojik dönüşümü odağına alan uluslararası etkinlik Ecomondo, 29. edisyonunda tekstil sektörüne verdiği önemi artırıyor. İtalya’daki Rimini Expo Centre’da 3-6 Kasım tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilecek etkinlik, sektöre ayrılan alanı daha da genişletecek.

Geçtiğimiz yıla kadar Textile District olarak bilinen alan, artık tüm bir salonu kapsayacak bağımsız bir fuar sektörüne dönüştürülerek Ecomondo’da geleneksel olarak yer alan diğer altı sektör – Waste as Resource, Water Cycle & Blue Economy, Sites & Soil Restoration, Circular & Regenerative Bio-economy, Bio-energy and Agriculture ile Earth Observation & Environmental Monitoring – ve bunların özel alanlarına katılacak.

Is digital product passport an opportunity for Turkish apparel industry?

The Turkish apparel industry continues its preparations for the digital product passport, which will become mandatory for textile products next year under the European Union’s (EU) sustainable economy policies.

The system, which records a product’s journey from field to shelf through digital data sets, is considered likely to be rapidly adopted in Türkiye thanks to the sector’s strong adaptation capability. At the same time, industry representatives emphasize the importance of strategy and preparation efforts.
