FMS (Flight Management System) is one of the most important avionics systems in an aircraft. This small machine has a massive navigation database, which contains countless elements from intersections to airports that are used to create flight plans for the aircraft to safely and efficiently travel.
It also calculates important values such as gross weight, fuel weight, and center of gravity, as well as acting as a GPS (Global Positioning System) throughout the flight to determine the aircraft's exact position in the air! 🛰️🌐
