On May 12, 2026, the Prime Minister of the Flemish Government of Belgium, Mr. Matthias Diependaele, and his delegation visited the Directorate General of Coastal Safety of Türkiye.

During the visit, the delegation was accompanied by Mr. Mustafa Bankaoğlu, Director General of Coastal Safety; Mr. Serhat AYTUGEL, Deputy Director General of Coastal Safety; Mr. Serge van der Haegen, Chairman of the Board of BTMgroup; Mr. Burçak KURT, Chairman of the Board of BTMteknik; and Mr. Jean-Christophe Van Acker, Sales Manager of ABC.

As part of the program, the delegation inspected tugboats within the Coastal Safety fleet equipped with ABC engines. Following the inspections, they experienced a navigation tour in the Bosphorus onboard the tugboats.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Directorate General of Coastal Safety, its management, and all employees for hosting this meaningful visit and for showcasing Turkish hospitality in the best possible way to the Belgian delegation. We also extend our gratitude to the ABC team for accompanying the delegation throughout the visit and for sharing valuable information about the projects carried out in Türkiye with ABC engines.
