Supervisor/Fabricator

Job Overview
This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating and supervising employees and all other activities within the fabrication workshop to ensure an effective and efficient fabrication operation that meets safety, quality, and production standards.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Assigns work to workshop personnel to attain objectives using knowledge of company policies, production schedules/target, equipment capacity and capabilities.
• Recommends and initiates improvements to increase fabricating efficiency.
• Responsible for compliance with safety and housekeeping requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
• 15 years minimum experience in a manufacturing/fabricating environment.
• Ability to learn and understand software and complete transactions pertaining to fabrication or welding operations, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates ability to supervise diverse work where necessary
• Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, twist, pull, push, grip, and climb.
Structural Steel Fabrication Checker

Job Overview
This position is responsible for checking all fabricated components before it leaves the compound.

Responsibilities and Duties
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience
• A keen eye for detail.
• Ability to understand and apply workplace safety procedures.
• Read structural drawings
• Good communication skills.
