Good news! We are thrilled to announce that the exhibition period has been extended until next Thursday (2/12) due to popular demand. We will also be open next Tuesday and Wednesday, so if you haven’t had a chance to stop by yet, make sure to catch it before it’s gone.

《Passing Notes》by Elijah Anderson

Drawing from his upbringing in New York, Elijah Anderson has been immersed in graffiti, music, and drumming since childhood—elements that deeply influence his artistic approach and self-identity. Graffiti taught him composition, balance, color, and form, serving as an emotional outlet during his restless youth. These sensory experiences, echoing his passion for skateboarding and drumming, infuse his visual language with a unique sense of rhythm and freedom.

Elijah describes his style as “playful,” yet it touches upon the multifaceted layers of life. “While most of my imagery has an approachable, childlike visual style, I incorporate many different layers of themes—ranging from straightforward illustrations to abstract and ethereal explorations of life through various creative techniques.”

《Passing Notes》by Elijah Anderson

從紐約的成長經驗出發，Elijah Anderson 自小便接觸塗鴉、音樂與打鼓，這些元素深刻影響他創作藝術的方式與自我認同。塗鴉教會他構圖、平衡、色彩與形式，也成為童年好動時期宣洩情感的出口，這些感官經驗與滑板、打鼓等興趣彼此呼應，為其視覺語彙注入節奏感與自由性。

Elijah Anderson 形容自身作品風格帶有「玩味」（Playfulness）感，但其背後亦觸及生命的多重層面：「我大部分的圖像作品給人一種親切、孩子氣的視覺風格，但我在其中融入了許多不同層次的主題，不論是插畫中直白的描寫，或是透過不同創作手法所呈現出關於生活的、抽象且空靈的主題。」
