Memorable safari at Mikumi National Park, Tanzania

Here is what you can do:

Mikumi National Park, TANZANIA
From Zanzibar

Day 1: Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to Zanzibar port to catch a ferry which leaves at 7:00 am for Dar es Salaam. You will arrive in Dar es Salaam at 9:00 am. You will meet our driver who will be waiting for you and transfer to Mikumi. You will stop on the way for lunch. Then continue driving to Mikumi. You will arrive around 4 p.m. You will check in at your lodge and then take a tour of Maasai Village to learn and experience the Maasai way of life.

Day 2: Go for a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will see common animals found in this park like elephants, girrafes, zebras, impalas, wildebeest, wildebeest, hippos and baboons. Other animals like elephants can also be seen if you are lucky. They are also available in this park. Lunch will be in the park. You will go on game drives until sunset, then leave the park to return to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Enjoy your breakfast at the lodge then prepare all your properties. Your driver will be there to pick you up at 8:30 am and bring you back to Dar es Salaam. You will enjoy your game viewing en route to Mikumi on your way to Dar es Salaam as you say goodbye to Mikumi National Park for the time being. There are also stunning views of the Uluguru Mountains shortly after the park ends 😊. Lunch will be in Morogoro. In Dar es Salaam, you will be dropped off at the port to take a ferry to Zanzibar (you will be given your tickets by a driver before they depart). In Zanzibar you will also meet our driver who will take you back to your hotel.
