These are some of the foods the kids eat each week.

Every day starts with porridge, then lunch there’s a big meal of either rice & beans, makande (mah-kan-day) which is a maize & bean stew or beef pilau.

Having meat on the menu is a very big deal and something we’re VERY PROUD OF!
Local schools and primary schools would never include meat due to the cost.

The kids also have a fruit snack in the afternoon of either watermelon, papaya, pineapple or bananas.

ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, and our biggest fundraiser too! This holiday season we are providing the families of our students with Christmas Packages that will have meals, housewares, crafts, and much more! For only $50, you can sponsor a family this holiday season and provide them with the most important gift of all, the comfort of meals to share with each other, activities to enjoy together, and security of having all the things we take for granted every day. For every family sponsored you will receive a thank you card from our family ceremony at the end of the school year. You can also sponsor a family in someone’s name and we will send them a thank you card that a family has been sponsored in their name!
