East African Trade Union Confederation (EATUC) convened Committee of Experts Meeting in Dar es Salaam to validate the Draft Regional Climate Change & Just Transition Policy.
This critical gathering brings together labor experts from EATUC Affiliates to ensure that the shift toward a greener economy is inclusive, fair, and worker-centered.
The draft Policy promotes: Green and decent job creation, Social protection for affected workers, Inclusion of women, youth, and persons with disabilities and Strong labor representation in climate decision-making.
EATUC remains committed to advancing both climate justice and economic justice for all workers in the region.
