From comics to cosplay, anime to gaming, Swahili Komik Con brought together creatives, fans, and storytellers to celebrate pop culture through the beauty of our language.

Swahili Komik Con: Where geek culture finds its voice in swahili This year’s edition, dubbed SWKC25, was more than a convention—it was a cultural turning point, a loud, joyful declaration of what organisers call “inking the culture”.

Today is the International Animation Day.

As we celebrate this special day, we would like to invite you to the Animation Tanzania Film Festival’s Award Ceremony.

A landmark event celebrating the creativity, innovation, and storytelling that define the Tanzanian animation industry. This prestigious ceremony will take place on October 31st at Alliance Française in Dar es Salaam, where we’ll honor outstanding talent and recognize the growth of our vibrant creative community.
