On 13 May 2026, a new chapter was written at Idugumbi Primary School as young people from the Kuyenda Project in Mbeya District Council led the installation and posting of information on the school notice boards.

The initiative marks an important step in strengthening transparency, access to information, and community engagement within the school environment. By creating accessible spaces for sharing school updates and important announcements, the Rural Youth Champions (RYCs) continue to promote accountability and encourage active participation among students, parents, teachers, and the wider community.

Through the Kuyenda Project, youth are driving meaningful grassroots action that contributes to more inclusive and responsive education systems.

Rural Youth Champions (RYC) in Mbogwe District participated in the installation of a notice board at Mkapa Primary School on 23 May 2026 a small but impactful step toward strengthening access to information, transparency, and community engagement within the school environment.

Through the Kuyenda Project, young people continue to champion inclusive and accountable education systems by creating spaces that encourage communication, participation, and shared responsibility among students, teachers, and the wider community.
