🦁A fun fact about lions in Lake Manyara National Park is that they have a unique behavior of climbing trees, which is not commonly seen in other lion populations. In this park, lions have been observed regularly climbing trees, particularly the sausage trees, to rest and escape the heat during the day.

➡️This behavior is believed to have evolved as a way to avoid the tsetse flies that infest the ground in the park, as well as to gain a better view of potential prey. Watching lions lounging on tree branches can be a fascinating sight for visitors to the park.
