Physical work is one of the best antidepressants. This assertion of psychologists is not unsubstantiated. But when cheering yourself up with a workout, follow these rules:
- Exercise half-heartedly and/or, as you feel like it, replace the type of workout you're planning with another.
- During your workout, drink a slightly sweetened beverage.
- Don't forget to take your favorite musical accompaniment.
- Take a hygienic shower after your workout and finish with a contrast treatment.
- Listen to your sensations, they will help you decide whether the final shower should be hot or cold.
