For anyone to whom the algorithm did not already deliver the news: We recently released a concept album called 'King Felix'! While heavily influenced by Philip K Dick and his ideas about Gnosticism and the demiurge, it is kind of set in Circular Quay, Sydney (Warrane) in 1788-1790, and attempts to weave together a pretty wild pantheon of characters ranging from Bennelong, Arthur Phillip, William Dawes and Patyegarang to Bill Gates, Shimshai, Yasser Arafat, Yoda, Alan Ginsberg, Donald Trump, my stepbrother, Abu Bakr Al-baghdadi, Carrie Fisher, Owsley Stanley, Moses, Bob Dylan, King George III, Jordan Peterson, Tom Baker, Maynard Keenan, Benjamin Netanyahu, Donavon, Terence Mckenna, Natalie Portman, Andrew Bolt and two women we met in a carpark in Avebury..
It 'is' pretty wordy.. and probably best appreciated as a whole album, (listening in order if you can!).. but its something different! (pretty sure it doesnt sound like anything else?!) Love to invite you to have a listen! ifly.bandcamp.com and all platforms x
