AEJNEXTGEN Innovations

Our Story

AEJ NextGen Innovations or AEJNI - is an interdisciplinary research and training organization. It was established by the statement "To Be A Next Generation Innovative Leader" by the Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Center, East Africa (Nairobi Kenya) as part of an effort to invest in the next generation young leaders.

It's main objective is to create and establish fruitful cooperation between the academic community and industry, SMEs, NGOs, public administration, local community, banking and financial institutions for coordinating the efforts in spreading the Research, Innovation and Technologies (RITs) wide implementation and use.

AEJNI through it’s core values of inclusion, inventiveness and integrity is working to take a lead in directing young people to harness resources for their future development. At it’s infancy we’re trying hard to be responsive to the demands of hopeless and less privileged youth by training and building capacity through the ICT-based inclusive education and training program (IETP).

#ThisKey2018 Initiative is a project being developed by the IETP to bring its activities to the attention of young people with aspiring next generation young minds. Activities involved include; workshops, seminars, outreaches, community work, volunteering, conferences among others which are intended to create opportunities for them to take a lead in building up their communities.

All in all the ideology of the existence of AEJNI is to ensure that young people take the lead in championing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
