Not all forms of abuse leave bruises.

Some wounds live in the words that were said to her every day until she started to believe them.

Some wounds live in the way he controlled what she wore, who she spoke to, where she went.

Some wounds live in the threats that were never carried out but were enough to keep her afraid.

She does not have a mark to show you. But she is hurting just as deeply.

At WORI we see all of it. The visible and the invisible. And we stand against all of it.

If this speaks to something you are carrying, please reach out. You do not have to explain it. You just have to say you need us.

The Periods to Prosperity Programme is on the move. 🌸

We started in Jinja. Now we have taken the training to Kamuli and Mayuge and the energy in every room has been everything.

Five days per district. Women learning hands on how to make reusable sanitary pads. Not just the skill itself but the deeper understanding of why this skill matters so much.

Because when a woman knows how to make a pad she is not just solving her own problem. She is making sure her daughter does not miss school. Her sister does not stay home. Her community does not lose another girl to period poverty.

That is the gospel we are preaching across Jinja, Kamuli and Mayuge. And we believe it with everything we have.

With our partners at CARE International Uganda, we are not just training women. We are driving entire communities toward prosperity. 💚
