Our Thursday wheelchair rugby trainings are getting stronger every week as we prepare athletes and clubs for the first-ever Tugende Uganda Wheelchair Rugby Championship 2026, happening 3rdโ€“7th August 2026 at the MTN Arena, Lugogo.

This championship will be a huge milestone for wheelchair rugby in Uganda, and we are committed to making it impactful, competitive, and unforgettable.

But we cannot do it alone.

We are calling on friends, supporters, sponsors, and partners to join us by supporting with:

Used rugby wheelchairs
Wheelchair rugby accessories
Sponsorship and financial contributions
Partnerships to strengthen disability sports in Uganda

You can support us through the GoFundMe link in our bio, and if you would like to be part of this championship, please contact us.

Letโ€™s work together to make Tugende Uganda Wheelchair Rugby Championship 2026 a massive success!

A small ball with a big impact.

Late last year, the Uganda Wheelchair Rugby community received 10 official Wheelchair Rugby balls from the generous support of Kathy Newman from the global development team at World Wheelchair Rugby.

These balls have been carefully kept in storage and will now play an important role as we prepare for our upcoming Wheelchair Rugby Championship this August.

For us, every piece of equipment represents opportunity โ€” opportunity for athletes with disabilities in Uganda to train, compete, and grow the sport.

We are grateful to World Wheelchair Rugby for standing with us as we continue building the future of adaptive sports in Uganda.

Kindly support our Go fund me campaign to help make wheelchair rugby better in Uganda the link is in the Bio

The journey continues. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฟ
