We are happy to host the ongoing 4-day short training in "Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Bioinformatics" here at Infectious Diseases Institute - Makerere University at Makerere University College of Health Sciences. The training is organized by the African Center of Excellence in Materials, Products & Nanotechnology found at Makerere University College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology

The African Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Data-Intensive sciences at the Infectious Diseases Institute - Makerere University today launched the Big Data Interest Group. The group is to foster communication among scientists with diverse backgrounds who have a common interest in the development of Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Neural Networks, Molecular & Biological pattern recognition for the improvement of medical treatments.
