Amazina Mbuyaga ("dance is a wave") is a powerful dance film that explores the transformative power of dance through the journey of , a contemporary dance artist with a disability.
The film challenges societal norms and misconceptions surrounding dance, advocating for its universality and potential for self-expression, regardless of physical ability. By featuring Joseph, who was diagnosed with polio at a young age, "Amazina Mbuyaga" confronts stigmas associated with disability and showcases the beauty of movement beyond conventional notions of "ability".
