According to eyewitness accounts, the incident occurred during the morning hours, prompting a response from the South Sudan People’s Defence Forces (SSPDF), who intervened to secure the area and assist those at the farm.

Sources say the farm workers—engaged in agricultural activities—were caught in the violence, raising concerns about the safety of civilians and food production efforts in the area. The farm is reportedly owned by Mr. Ajo Ony’Ohisa Igele, a legal practitioner.
