The International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women: We believe the young people have a great role to play in The 16 Days of Activism, which aims to prevent and eliminate violence against women and girls around the world, calling for global action to increase awareness, promote advocacy and create opportunities for discussion on challenges and solutions.

Last week, our Co-Founder Karagwa Rebecca was at the Advocacy Accelerator in Nairobi-Kenya, with 20 other young grassroots & national advocates in Africa, to conclude a year’s course study & in preparation for implementation of various countries’ accelerating campaigns that will contribute to the struggle to end all forms of oppression that exploit & dehumanize all women.

Sustainable Development can only be achieved faster and effectively with the involvement of all people meaningfully in all decision making and implementation processes.

The International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression reminds us of the need to not only acknowledge the pain suffered by children who are the victims of all forms of abuse, but also to urgently put in place safer spaces for their recovery.
