On your wedding,introduction day, it's important to make sure the wedding cake can be seen by all your guests.
The wedding cake can be a real focal point of a room so it shouldn't be hidden away in a corner.
When deciding on the size of cake remember that you may want to give some to the parents and send some to people who are unable to attend the reception as is customary at Ugandan weddings.

It is also traditional to keep the smallest, top tier of the cake for the first wedding anniversary or the christening of the first child.
