Flexdrone Ltd is making a special (trial) offer for growers of cereal crops like maize or wheat, to test and demonstrate the value of crop analysis using drone imagery. What we would do:
- Collect imagery with our drone of your field, up to 5 acres
- Upload collected imagery and get it automatically processed
- Spot in-field variations and problem areas with analysis tools
- Share prescription files and PDF-reports.
There is no fee for the service, initially, just covering expenses for demonstration purposes, chiefly logistics to your farm (any) and back. Would you be interested?

One of the jobs of land surveyors is marking key coordinates on the surveyed site using GPS data and often installing permanent controls like we are doing here for a new energy project in Mubende District, after a drone survey and report. If you need to make decisions on sizeable land you have opened, the use of drones to capture data and process into usable outputs like terrain models is highly recommended, not least to reduce risk.

Surveying with a drone has a number of advantages compared with the conventional approach. The key one is the same topographic accuracy but in a fraction of the time, workload and cost. Proper survey drones (using 40 Mpx sensors or better) can now achieve an absolute accuracy of 1 cm ground sampling distance, which means the length of one pixel on your map corresponds to 1 cm on the ground, in reality. A very informative and accessible summary below, complete with nice (and African) visuals of the outputs produced from a drone survey. If you are surveying and mapping land for any purpose, you could probably benefit from a proper survey and terrian / 3D models to plan your work or re-works. Just contact us for no obligation advice. A lot of projects fail or become less economic due to a lack of understanding and engineering of the site, including to plan or prevent flood damage. https://wingtra.com/drone-mapping-applications/surveying-gis/

Pandemic Clears Way for Drone Delivery Test in Ireland - WSJ.com 01/04/2020

The COVID-19 pandemic is leading to innovation in health care services delivery. In Ireland drones are now being used to deliver medicines to elderly and vulnerable people where they live, refer story below. The same could also happen In Uganda to improve COVID-19 response, quality of care and save lives, with the same kind of cooperation as achieved in Ireland. We have proposed and will continue to propose concepts to fill on-demand last-mile gaps in products and services, and make healthcare more customer-oriented. A Ugandan doctor told us "If the drones system was functional. It would really make a difference for us, we transporting samples everyday but with lots of access challenges."

Pandemic Clears Way for Drone Delivery Test in Ireland - WSJ.com Irish aviation authorities have given permission for certain drone flights this week to deliver medication to elderly and vulnerable people in the small Irish village of Moneygall, some 90 miles west of Dublin. Manna Aero Ltd., an Irish drone-delivery startup, will conduct the test flight. A larger

Getting Locked Down Underlines Why We Must Look Up And Work To Enable Drone Delivery 27/03/2020

The current COVID-19 lockdown in Uganda and elsewhere reminds us of the need to explore all channels to deliver healthcare and other products / services to the community in these times. This means laying the enabling foundations for new approaches and technologies, such as explained in the article below.

Getting Locked Down Underlines Why We Must Look Up And Work To Enable Drone Delivery In the middle of a pandemic vital medical and other supplies need to be delivered fast. Drones are an obvious way to get goods around a city without human contact, or needing to quarantine operators. But to do that we need agreement on how to share the airspace. Here's what needs to happen

AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY: Drones application is now here 26/02/2020

in Ugandan agriculture featured on NTV, which included comments by us, using the example of spray drones supporting small-holder farmers, improving efficiency of crop protection. Technology to improve field outcomes is vital if Uganda is to see the kind of productivity it requires to ensure its food security given a fast-growing population, and to export to generate much needed income. Flexdrone is working with agricultural stakeholders across the crop season, from surveying and mapping, site planning, crop monitoring and assessment, advisory, interventions like crop proteection and yield assessment.
