We wanted to change our lives, get out of poverty, get out of a system that pulls us down to the ground. While thinking about building a poultry farm that would bring us jobs, food and hope, not just for us, but also for our neighbors, we realized that a lot of people need this help. We started to ask our contacts who is interested in getting help and we found an orphanage that needed help. Thinking about teamwork and to give help to each other a new idea was born: Support Uganda!"

There are many orphanages and schools and orphans on the street here. State aid is not available here. Many volunteers help the orphans and try to get donations.
It lacks the simplest things: clean water, food, clothing, shelter and education / schools.

In Uganda, there are state schools, but these are not particularly accessible to people living outside of the big cities, because the transport costs money that is not available there.

In addition to this problem we received another bad news. Government agencies should close down smaller schools and orphanages, but these are just those who have little help. There are no alternatives for the children, who then have to live on the street without help. We will try to verify this.
