Our Story
StartOver is a non-governmental organization that works to improve road safety and support survivors of impacts of road crashes in Uganda.
It was founded by KAGANZI CHRIS in April 2018 in the aftermaths of a fatal car crash in which he lost his entire family-His wife and little son and a friend's little daughter; a crash which he and others survived on 02-Dec-2017 along Jinja-Kampala High way.
The manner in which the crash happened, the response to Emergency, the post-crash care, the post trauma cares the Injustices and impacts of crashes to livelihoods of others was all evidence that there is a road safety crisis in Uganda and it was not being given utmost attention.
