GRA took part in a “Let’s Talk” round table engagement with international oil companies TotalEnergies, CNOOC Uganda Limited, East African Crude Oil Pipeline, alongside government agencies including Uganda National Oil Company Limited, and National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) Uganda. The discussion focused on the environmental aspects of ongoing oil projects.

In this session, we presented key community-based environmental concerns and highlighted issues affecting host communities. These engagements help advance collaboration, strengthen grievance handling processes, and improve development outcomes in Uganda’s extractives sector.
