🌈 Pride is more than just celebration — it’s a powerful moment for freedom, advocacy and solidarity. Our founder, Swedish artict and activist Petter Wallenberg, has dedicated his life to fighting hatred through creativity, working for LGBT rights in some of the world’s most dangerous countries and fighting against hate crimes in Sweden. He knows firsthand the importance of never taking our rights for granted.
This year, we are proud to announce that Petter has been invited to share his journey and insights at Stockholm Pride through two inspiring seminars:
🗓️ Thursday, July 31 ⏰ 12:00 PM – Pride House Panel with the Swedish Arts Council: Addressing the rising threats against q***r artistic expression worldwide.
🗓️ Thursday, July 31 ⏰ 3:00 PM – Pride House Discussion on The Rising Threats Against LGBTQIA+ Rights Globally — a vital conversation with politicians, activists, and artists about the urgent challenges we face.
Join us for these important talks on resilience, rights, and the power of creativity in the fight against hate. We hope to see you there! 🌟

🎉 We’re beyond thrilled to share the great response to our founding director Petter Wallenberg’s new single, “My Love (is the way it’s supposed to be)” — featuring New York drag legend Lady Bunny and q***r voices from Uganda, where it is illegal and dangerous to be LGBT. 🤩🌍
This isn’t just a song — it’s advocacy in the face of rising threats. We’re therefore grateful to see world-leading LGBT media & organizations like Yahoo, GLAAD, and Attitude championing this single and celebrating the cause. 🌈✨
For 10 years, Rainbow Riots has been on the ground in Uganda, fighting for LGBT rights in one of the world’s most hostile countries for q***r people. Music gives us a voice, a platform, and a way to make the world listen. Let’s keep pushing for change — because love is the way it’s supposed to be. 💪🌈

MY LOVE (IS THE WAY IT’S SUPPOSED TO BE) - the new track composed and produced by our founder Petter Wallenberg featuring New York drag legend Lady Bunny and q***r voices from Uganda, where it’s illegal and dangerous to be LGBT. 🌈
The track comes in 3 versions – disco, afrobeat and ballad – and the video was filmed in USA, Sweden and Uganda. In times where LGBT rights are under threat, the message is simple: my love is the way it’s supposed to be. 💕🌈
All proceeds go to Rainbow Riots work supporting marginalised LGBT+ communities. 🌈🌈🌈
