A legal notice has been issued to Salt Media by Benson threatening to sue the media house and 2 of their presenters— Full Figure & Ssenkubuge over alleged defamatory statements aired on the Operation Fika Salaama program on June 17, 2026.

The notice further demands an on-air apology on the same television program, a written apology from Salt Media management, and compensation of UGX 100 million for alleged reputational damage and related legal costs.
