Because mental health conditions are common, many outlets can help you maintain good mental health. If you are having symptoms of depression or another mental health condition, talk to your healthcare provider or social worker.
HIV internalized stigma can lead to feelings of shame, fear of disclosure, isolation, and despair. These feelings can keep people from getting tested and treated for HIV.
For people living with HIV, taking care of both physical and mental health are important. Mental health conditions are treatable, and people with mental health problems can recover.
