Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary had the distinct pleasure of welcoming Mr. Robert Joseph Walker and his lovely family for a memorable visit. The family’s genuine appreciation for wildlife was evident as they engaged enthusiastically with the island’s diverse species—including the Nile monitor lizard and various bird species. The true highlight of their visit, however, was the deep connection they experienced with our closest relatives, the chimpanzees. It was a heartwarming reminder of the bond that exists between humans and wildlife. Mr. Rob Walker is a renowned British sports commentator, television presenter, and freelance reporter. He has covered a wide array of sports—including tennis, snooker, darts, boxing, football, sailing, and athletics—for major networks such as the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Setanta Sports, and the IAAF, among others.
