As this year comes to a close, it has become apparent that 2024 is on track to be the warmest year on record, according to the World Meteorological Organization .

Even now, when we are still under 1.5°C, the impacts of the climate crisis are being felt with deadly floods in Spain and Italy, ferocious summer heat in India and the worst drought in one hundred years in Southern Africa.
