Headwaters Royalty Program

The Headwaters Queen Royalty Program is thrilled to announce the crowning of Carmella Keaveny as the 2025 Headwaters Queen. Carmella, a Wahpeton, ND resident, is a senior at Wahpeton High School. Carmella was sponsored by an anonymous sponsor.

Joining Carmella is the new 2025 Headwaters Junior Queen, Isabella Korth. Isabella is a junior at Breckenridge High School. She was sponsored by Cargill.

The royalty was crowned at the Headwaters Festival held at Welles Park in Breckenridge, MN, on Saturday, September 13, 2025. They were surrounded by family and friends. A celebratory cake was served to the public.

The newly crowned royalty will have the opportunity to represent Wilkin and Richland counties in various events, celebrations, and charitable activities throughout the year.
