Farhat Shah from CECOM ASIC led the Warfighting Acquisition University event, "Operationalizing Zero Trust (ZT) – Leveraging Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Artificial Intelligence." This presentation highlighted how AI tools, developed in partnership with the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command C5ISR Center, can automate ZT analysis and map RMF controls to build a stronger baseline.

On May 12, CECOM hosted the 2026 APG Field Day at the Mallette Training Facility for the Pathways in Technology Early College High School (P-TECH). Students demonstrated their robotics skills to ATEC, CECOM, and DEVCOM leadership, including CECOM ASIC Executive Director Garrett Shoemaker.
