These Two Hands

It’s always a pleasure restoring these Old Hickory utensils for folks. Of all the blades in the kitchen, these were always the best. This one got a new Katalox wood handle, a cleaning, and a sharpening.

Made this TTH version of a V42 for an old friend. Since he’s an alumni of Camp Mackall, he gets a knife made of Camp Mackall, including the high carbon steel blade and the pummel made from an old tent peg.. prior to the tar shacks, prior to today’s brick buildings. And since he’s a master leather smith, he gets to make his own sheath.
